Cyclical Nature First Drafts
If I could describe my images in one word, I would say metaphysical. I am very interested in the occult and own a lot of occult-related things in my apartment. My concept is each photo will represent a different element (earth air water fire) and they will also correlate to a season with the color palette.
autumn / earth
winter / water
spring / air
summer / fire
I love the patterns on these! I think the first one is working very well, but add a little something so repetition doesn't damage the end result. The second one has wonderful colors! It's my favorite out of them all.
ReplyDeleteVery clever concepts and aesthetically well done! I'm fond of how the color pallets are also to not only fit the elements, but the changing seasons. That's a unique take on something well-known, and the execution of these ideas is looking great! can't wait to see the finished product.

ReplyDeleteThe imagery that you're pulling from the tarot cards/related objects is really compelling, and I like that a lot of them focus on symmetry and obscurity. Those physical attributes tie in well with your theme so I think pushing those is a really nice way to build concept.

ReplyDeleteI love the creative imagery you are using to relate to your concept. I think that you could push the winter themed image a bit more by adding some more wintery items. Maybe some clouds, snow, or bare trees.
